The Top 25 cruise line Better Business Bureau reports summarize customer satisfaction ranked here from best to worst. Companies without BBB files are N/A for not applicable and no score is applied. Cruise lines sailing into U.S. waters registering with BBB provide updates to the BBB so results can be held in archive and monitored for BBB rating based on performance. We award points to cruise lines based on BBB participation records. Some BBB databases were offline during data collection attempts as local BBB databases were upgraded. As was the case for Princess Cruises.

Comp - The total number of complaints filed against a cruise line with the BBB
% BBB&Cus - The percentage of complaints resolved to BBB and customer satisfaction
% No CSa t - The percentage of complaints resulting in no customer satisfaction. The cruise line and the BBB worked together satisfying commitments for resolution but this did not end in customer satisfaction.
% NO Res - The percentage of complaints that went unresolved, it includes the number of complaints the cruise line failed to respond to and those complaints they were unable to resolve to BBB satisfaction
Res Score - The total amount of points available were 100. In order to get 100 points, all complaints must be resolved to BBB satisfaction. A perfect score is 100.
Sat Score - These are the points awarded based on percentage of complaints resolved to customer satisfaction. A perfect score is 100.
Points -This is the sum of the Res Score and the Sat Score. A perfect score is 200.
